Features
Products Hub
One catalogue for every product you sell, with a single editor for content, images, variations and A+ that links straight to the field a problem is in.
Products Hub
The Products Hub at /products is your catalogue: every product Rufusly knows about, whatever it came from. Products arrive by Amazon sync, by Amazon flat file import, by Shopify CSV import, or by hand. Once a product is in the hub, every other tool in Rufusly can work on it.
This feature is in early access. If you do not see it in your account yet, contact support to have it enabled.
The hub and the Amazon Listings view
These are two different screens and it is worth knowing which you are on.
- Products (
/products) is your own database. It holds the product record: SKU, ASIN, brand, product type, price, variation family, main image, and any content you have saved but not yet published. - Amazon Listings (
/listing-studio/inventory) reads live from Amazon. It is where you press Sync, and where you see what Amazon says about a listing right now.
Sync is what keeps the two describing the same products. See Amazon Catalogue Sync for how that works.
What the hub gives you
- Search and filter your whole catalogue, scoped to the brand you have active.
- See parent and child variations as a family rather than as unrelated rows.
- Select several products and act on them together, including swapping images in bulk.
- Open any product straight into the editor.
Switch brands and you see that brand's products only.
The unified product editor
Opening a product gives you one editor instead of four tools. It has tabs for:
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Product info | SKU, ASIN, brand, product type, price, status, category attributes |
| Content | Title, item highlights, bullets, description, backend search terms |
| Images | The product's images and their Amazon slots |
| Variations | Parent and child relationships, variation theme and attributes |
| A+ | A+ modules and saved designs for this product |
AI generation on the field you are looking at
Any content field can be rewritten on its own, without regenerating the whole listing. Rewrites are grounded in the product's real Amazon content rather than its title alone, and they follow the brand compliance profile if you have set one up. Each rewrite is sanitised before you see it: titles are hard-capped at 75 characters, en and em dashes are stripped, and backend search terms are deduplicated against words already used in the title and highlights.
Attribute health scanner
The editor scans the product as you edit and shows a count of errors and warnings per tab, so you can see that the problem is on Content without opening Content. It checks the same rules the rest of Rufusly checks: title length and banned characters, at least three filled bullets, description length, backend search terms against the 250 byte limit, and missing required attributes.
The scanner runs on your draft, not on a saved copy, so it reacts while you type.
Data source toggle
The editor can show the Amazon view of the product or the Shopify view of the same product. Amazon is live. Shopify products can be imported by CSV today and sit in the same catalogue, but the live Shopify connection is not available yet and the toggle marks it as coming soon.
Version history
Saved content is versioned. You can see what changed, when, and restore an earlier version if a rewrite went the wrong way.
Publishing
Where your Amazon account is connected, approved content can be pushed to the live listing from the editor. Publishing to Amazon is in early access. If you do not see it in your account yet, contact support to have it enabled.
Issue links go to the exact field
This is the part that saves the most time. Every issue Rufusly raises knows which tab and which input it belongs to, so a chip on the dashboard, on the Amazon Listings table, or in the editor's own health panel is a link, not a label.
Click "Search terms over byte limit" and you land on the Content tab with the backend search terms box focused and a one-line note explaining why you were sent there. Click "Title too long" and you land on the title. Click "No image" and you land on the Images tab.
A few issues have no field to point at, and they say so. "Content not synced" means nothing on your listing is wrong, we have simply never pulled it from Amazon, so the fix is a Sync rather than an edit.
Adding products
- Sync from Amazon, the fastest route if your Seller Central account is connected.
- Amazon flat file, upload a category flat file and every row becomes a product, with parent and child relationships preserved.
- Shopify CSV, upload a Shopify product export.
- By hand, for products that do not exist anywhere yet. You need a brand first.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Rufusly Products Hub?
The Products Hub is the single catalogue at /products holding every product Rufusly knows about, whether it came from an Amazon sync, an Amazon flat file, a Shopify CSV, or was added by hand. Every other Rufusly tool works from products in the hub.
What is the difference between Products and Amazon Listings in Rufusly?
Products is your own database and holds the product record plus any content you have saved but not published. Amazon Listings reads live from Amazon and is where you press Sync. Sync is what keeps the two describing the same products.
Do I need an Amazon connection to use the Products Hub?
No. You can import products from an Amazon flat file or a Shopify CSV, or add them by hand, without connecting Seller Central. You do need the connection for Amazon sync, for live listing content, and for publishing changes back to Amazon.
Does the unified product editor work with Shopify?
Shopify products imported by CSV live in the same catalogue as your Amazon products and the editor has a data source toggle for them, but the live Shopify connection is not available yet and the toggle marks it as coming soon.
Why does a listing issue open the product editor on a specific field?
Every issue Rufusly raises carries the tab and the input it belongs to, so the chip is a link. Clicking it opens the editor with that field focused and a short note explaining why you were sent there, instead of leaving you to hunt for the problem.
Is the Products Hub available on all Rufusly plans?
The Products Hub and the unified product editor are in early access rather than gated by plan. If you do not see them in your account, contact support to have them enabled.
