Image Studio

Generate Amazon product images from your own photos, keep every image linked to its ASIN and slot, add editable callouts, then download or publish to your listing.

Image Studio

Image Studio turns your own product photography into the images an Amazon listing needs. Start from a product in your catalogue, generate the shots you are missing, edit the wording without paying for a regeneration, then take the finished files to Amazon.

You can generate one type at a time, or run the core types in one go.

Start from a product, not a blank page

Search your catalogue inside Image Studio and pick the product you are working on. That loads its photos, its listing copy and its ASIN in one step, so the generator is grounded in the real listing rather than a prompt you typed from memory.

If you have no photo to hand, import one straight from Amazon. Enter or search for the ASIN and Rufusly copies the listing photo into your own storage, where it behaves like any uploaded photo. Importing a photo costs no credits.

Every image knows its product and its slot

When you generate from a product, each image is tagged with that product's ASIN and with the Amazon image slot it belongs in. Nothing extra to fill in. The slot comes from the image type: Hero is the Amazon main image, and the other types are laid out across the secondary slots in a sensible order you can change later.

Images made before you had a product selected can be linked afterwards. Pick one image, or select several, and use Link to product. Once an image carries an ASIN and a slot it shows up on that product and becomes selectable in Compare & Update. Linking costs no credits: it only labels an image that already exists.

Derived images keep the link too, so an upscale, a marked-area fix or a white-background version stays attached to the same product instead of dropping off into an unlabelled pile.

Labels and callouts you can edit

Infographic text is not painted into the picture. The image is generated text free and every label, leader line and shape is kept as a separate layer over the top, so changing a word is free and never blurs or garbles.

  • Generate labels & callouts writes a first draft for you, grounded in the product copy and, where the image is linked to an ASIN, the real listing facts. It does not regenerate the image and costs no credits.
  • Edit any label in place: retype it, drag it, change its colour or size, switch a connector between an arrow and a line with a dot.
  • Apply to all matches every label to the selected one's colour and size, or every connector to the selected one's colour, thickness and style. One click instead of ten.
  • Downloading a labelled image composites the layers exactly as you arranged them, so the file matches what you were looking at, including labels you moved.

If you have an older image with text baked into the pixels, Detect & convert existing text erases the baked text and hands the wording back as editable layers. That one costs 1 image credit, because it has to repaint the area underneath.

Fixing an image without starting over

ActionCostWhat it does
Mark area to fix1 image creditPaint over the part that is wrong. Only the painted area changes.
Regenerate1 image creditRebuilds the whole image from an edited prompt.
Upscale 4x1 image creditFour times the resolution of the current image.

Use Mark area to fix for a local problem, such as one side of a pair not matching the other. Use Regenerate when the whole scene is wrong.

Downloading for Amazon

Every image can be downloaded as a plain PNG. Images that carry an ASIN and a slot also get Download for Amazon, which flattens the image to a JPEG on white and names the file the way Amazon's bulk media uploader expects:

text
B0EXAMPLE01.MAIN.jpg B0EXAMPLE01.PT04.jpg

Select several images and you get the same thing as a single zip, ready to drop into Amazon's bulk image upload. Images with no ASIN or no slot are skipped, and the download tells you how many were left out. Downloads cost no credits.

Compare & Update

This feature is in early access. If you do not see it in your account yet, contact support to have it enabled.

Compare & Update puts your generated images next to what is actually live on Amazon. Pick a product and Rufusly reads its live listing images slot by slot, then shows each Amazon slot beside the candidate images you have linked to that ASIN.

  • One row per slot: the live Amazon image on the left, your candidate on the right.
  • Push to Amazon updates a single slot, and asks you to confirm first. It changes the live listing straight away, so there is no draft step to undo it from.
  • Amazon accepting the update means it has queued the change, not that the page has already changed. Changes usually appear within about 15 minutes, and Amazon can still reject an image in its own validation.
  • Re-check live images pulls the current state again if you have changed something in Seller Central.

You need an Amazon Seller Central connection, and the product needs both an ASIN and a product type on file. Some listings keep their images in the Amazon catalogue rather than in editable fields; for those, the main image is read from the catalogue and the secondary slots cannot be matched automatically.

Publishing from the Creative Library

This feature is in early access. If you do not see it in your account yet, contact support to have it enabled.

You do not have to open Compare & Update to publish. Any image that already carries an ASIN and a slot can be published straight from the Creative Library, on its own or as a selection, with a confirmation step before anything is sent. It is the same live update, keyed by the image rather than by the listing.

If publishing is not enabled for your account, download the images instead and upload them in Seller Central under Manage Images.

Amazon Image Suite

This feature is in early access. If you do not see it in your account yet, contact support to have it enabled.

Design my image stack plans a whole seven-image set for one product in one pass: main image, infographic, dimensions, lifestyle, comparison, how to use, and what is in the box. Planning the stack costs 1 listing credit.

The rule that makes it work: no image model ever draws a letter. It paints a text-free background, and Rufusly composites your copy over it as real text layers. That is why a label cannot come back garbled, and why a measurement can be corrected without regenerating anything. Measurements are quoted from your listing attributes rather than invented.

Cost depends on what a slot needs:

  • Flat-background slots render from the compositor alone, free.
  • Photo-background slots cost 1 image credit for the background, then the composite is free.
  • The main image costs 1 image credit when the background has to be removed.

The main image is treated as the one image with a right answer. Amazon wants pure white, the product alone, no text and no props, so nothing is imagined: your product is isolated from your own photograph and placed on a pure white square canvas. The result is then measured rather than assumed, and Rufusly shows you whether the background really is pure white and how much of the frame the product fills.

Credits and daily limits

Generating an image costs 1 image credit. Linking, tagging, callout drafting and every download are free.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get my Amazon product photos into Rufusly Image Studio?

In Image Studio, search for the product by ASIN and choose to import its photo. Rufusly copies the listing photo from Amazon into your own storage so you can generate from it like any uploaded image. Importing photos this way costs no credits.

Can Rufusly publish a generated image directly to my Amazon listing?

Yes. Compare & Update shows your generated image beside the one live on your Amazon listing, slot by slot, and pushes a single slot to the live listing when you confirm. It needs an Amazon Seller Central connection, and the product needs an ASIN and a product type on file. The feature is in early access, so contact support if you do not see it yet.

Why does Rufusly generate infographics without text and add the labels separately?

Because text drawn by an image model cannot be edited and often comes back misspelled. Rufusly generates a text-free image and keeps every callout as an editable layer on top, so changing the wording is free, the text stays sharp, and the downloaded file matches the editor exactly.

What does an Image Studio credit cost cover?

One image credit covers one generated image, one marked-area fix, one 4x upscale, or one conversion of baked-in text into editable labels. Importing photos from Amazon, linking an image to a product, drafting callout labels and downloading files are all free. Daily limits are 10 images on the free trial, 25 on Starter, 75 on Growth and 150 on Agency.

How do I name Amazon image files for a bulk upload?

Use Download for Amazon in the Creative Library. Rufusly flattens the image to a JPEG on white and names it in the form ASIN.MAIN.jpg for the main image, or ASIN.PT01.jpg through ASIN.PT08.jpg for the secondary slots, which is what the Amazon bulk media uploader matches on. Select several images to get them as one zip.

What is the difference between Compare & Update and the Amazon Image Suite?

Compare & Update is about publishing: it puts a finished image beside the live Amazon slot and replaces it. The Amazon Image Suite is about planning: it designs all seven Amazon product images for one product in a single pass, with the copy composited as editable text layers rather than drawn by an image model. Both are in early access.
