What changed on Amazon?

Since July 2026, Amazon enforces a 75-character title limit (including spaces) across most product categories. Titles over this limit are being auto-rewritten by Amazon's AI, and you lose control of which keywords survive.

Amazon has introduced a new Item Highlights field (125 characters) that appears below your title in search results, giving you 200 total characters (75 title + 125 highlights) to describe your product.

The keyword problem: many sellers built long titles because those exact keywords drove their ranking. Trimming to 75 chars without redistributing those keywords will hurt search visibility. This tool preserves them by moving overflow keywords into bullets, product description, and backend search terms.
